Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Wheaten Connect (the "Platform"), an information and community platform around the Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

1. The Platform

Wheaten Connect offers users an environment to find and share information about shows, clubs, kennels, litters and events. Wheaten Connect is solely an information and communication platform and is not a party to any agreements made between users (including breeders, buyers and owners).

2. Account and registration

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secret.
• Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
• At registration you must expressly agree to these terms, the privacy policy and the disclaimer.

3. Rules of conduct

By using the Platform you declare that you will:

• not post any unlawful, misleading, offensive or fraudulent content;
• respect third-party rights (including copyright and privacy);
• not misuse the Platform (spam, scraping, automated access without permission);
• comply with applicable laws and regulations in your country.

4. Role of third parties

Content about breeders, kennels, clubs, animals and events is provided by users themselves. Wheaten Connect does not verify this content and gives no guarantees as to accuracy, completeness or fitness. Transactions between users fall entirely outside the responsibility of Wheaten Connect.

5. Intellectual property

By posting content on the Platform, you grant Wheaten Connect a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, distribute and process that content to the extent necessary to operate the Platform. You remain the rights holder of your own content. The design, software and composition of the Platform itself are the property of Wheaten Connect.

6. Paid features

Certain features (for example additional photo uploads or kennel pages) are only available for paid accounts. Prices and conditions are shown before purchase. Refunds are not possible for subscription periods already delivered, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

7. Termination

You can close your account at any time. Wheaten Connect may suspend or remove accounts for breach of these terms or on suspicion of misuse, without any liability.

8. Liability

For the exclusion of liability the disclaimeradditionally applies. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wheaten Connect is in no event liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

9. Changes

Wheaten Connect may amend these terms. Material changes will be announced via the Platform. Continued use after the change is deemed acceptance.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
